MONOPRINTS
Mike Vye has made and sold hundreds of linocut monoprints. Some as the abstract DC Series are numbered as they come off the block and the block is numbered itself. This is a unique form of hand printing developed by Mike Vye. Printing on black light fast paper working with Daniel Smith etching inks creating thick rich textures more like painting than printmaking. These are exceptional non-objective studies in surface, color and composition. Each one is a one of a kind, unique piece, 19.5" x 25.5" each.
